ULYSSES - Funeral for Cordelia "Anna" Adams, 95, of Ulysses, will be 10 a.m. Friday at Garnand Funeral Home, Ulysses, with the Rev. Bill Harrold officiating. Burial will follow at Ulysses Cemetery.
Mrs. Adams died Wednesday, March 31, 2004, at Western Prairie Care Home in Ulysses. She was born April 1, 1908, at Mount Grove, Mo., to John Riley and Mandy Louiza Crisp.
A longtime resident of Ulysses, she owned and operated Doc's Motel and was an avid supporter of the Grant County Senior Center, where she enjoyed spending time with her friends..
On Feb. 17, 1934, she married William Harrison "Doc" Adams in Old Mexico. He died in November 1976. She also was preceded in death by three brothers, three sisters, five half brothers and four half sisters.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews and her "adopted family" of friends at the senior center.
