Champ Holder, 62, of Lenoir, died Tuesday, July 15, 2003, at the residence.
He was born April 8, 1941 in Caldwell County to the late Charlie George and Pairlee Watts Holder. He was the grandson of the late Early and Carrie Walker Holder.
Mr. Holder was employed with Broyhill Furniture Industries Central Trucking.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Linda Speagle Holder of the home; two sons, Charlie Clipper Holder of Lenoir and Guy Troy Holder of Pittsboro, and a brother, Dyke A. Holder of Lenoir.
Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Park.
