"DEATHS and FUNERALS: JAMIE W. WHITLEY // Jamie W. WHITLEY, well known Columbus man, died at his residence, 1212 Twentieth street Friday afternoon at 4:10 o'clock, following an illness of six months. Mr. WHITLEY was born in Harris county, Ga., January 29, 1906, being the son of Mrs. Nettie HANCOCK WHITLEY and the late J. L. WHITLEY. // He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Loette WHITLEY, of Columbus; one son, Marvin WHITLEY, of Columbus; his mother, Mrs. Nettie HANCOCK WHITLEY, of Byron, Ga.; one brother, Leonard WHITLEY, of Butler [Marion County, GA]; also several uncles and aunts, nieces and nephews. // Funeral services will be held from the residence, 1212 Twentieth street, at 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon, Dr. O. B. NEWSOM, pastor of the Eastern Heights Baptist church will conduct the services. Interment will be int he family burial plot in Russell cemetery, on the Talbotton road. // The following will serve as pallbearers: W. L.
