Winton W. Branning Ex-Realty , Garage Executive
Winton W. Branning, retired executive of a Bronx Garage and Realty concern, died yesterday at his home, 21-23 Wollfe St. He was 64 and had been ill two years, a former Bronx resident he was born in Narrowsburg, NY on September 28, 1893, attended Manhattan Schools and in 1914 married the former Elsie Hyden in the Bronx. They moved to Yonkers 27 years ago.
As a young man, Mr. Branning entered his fathers garage business and later became president of the company the W.and H. B. Garage in the Bronx. He also was engaged in real estate business there and was vice president of the Branning Realty Corporation until his retirement in 1956.
Mr. Branning had been active for a number of years in the Bronx Realtors Association, and he was a member of the Lincoln Park Taxpayers Association here and the True Course Lodge of Masons in the Bronx.
He is survived by his wife, a son Winton W. Branning, Jr. of Yonkers, who is associated with the engineering division of Otis Elevator Co. in New York City; a grand daughter and a brother, Harry Branning of the Bronx, who is President of the Realty corporation.
