Noah F. Kirkpatrick, age 92, of Grassy community near Glen Allen, MO, died August 7, 2007 at the Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. He was born Oct. 22, 1914 at Grassy, son of Charles M. and Mary E. (Hill) Kirkpatrick.
He married Nona V. Barrett, June 26, 1937 and she died, April 9, 2001.
Mr. Kirkpatrick was a retired timber and sawmill owner/operator.
He was the oldest continual member of the Grassy Friendship General Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son Larry Hugh Kirkpatrick, Cedar Hill, MO; daughters, Gloria Joyce Cain, Palm Harbor, FL; Brenda Kay Long, Glen Allen, MO; nine grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by an infant son, four brothers, four sisters and one infant grandchild.
Visitation will be Aug. 10, 2007, at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill and Saturday, at the Grassy Friendship General Baptist Church. The funeral service will be Saturday at the Church with the Rev. Gene Robbins officiating; burial will follow in the Grassy Friendship Cemetery.
