DEATH OF MRS. THOMAS FARRELL

Mrs. Thomas Farrell, age 75, passed away at her home near Paris last Sunday morning. She had been in ill health for some time. The body was removed to the Speed and Blakey funeral home.
Mrs. Farrell was born May 3, 1882, near Centralia, a daughter of James and Emma Johnson Roberson. In 1902 she was married to Thomas Farrell and they spent their married life in Monroe County.
Survivors include the husband and five children, Mrs. Henry Jones, Ralph Farrell and Dallas Farrell of Shelbina; Mrs. Orville Fitzpartick of Quincy; and Denzil Farrell of near Hunnewell; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Kirtley and Mrs. Roy Gaines; and two brothers, Elgin and Bryant Roberson.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon from the Holliday Christian church with Rev. J. L. Shoemaker officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
