Vespa Hicks Hudman, 82, of Idaho Falls, died October 31, 2001, at New Horizons Care Center of causes incident to age. She was under the care of Hospice of Eastern Idaho. She was born March 28, 1919, at Iona, to Ralph Hicks and Emma Agatha Hodge. She grew up in Iona and attended schools there. Other than a short time in California, she has lived her entire life in Idaho Falls. She married Arthur Holly Hudman February 17, 1947, at Dillon, Montana. She has been a homemaker and mother. Her husband passed away October 3, 1988. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a volunteer for Eastern Idaho Special Services Agency and received their Volunteer Award in 1999. She enjoyed her volunteer work, sewing, gardening, and bowling.

Funeral Services held Monday, November 5, 2001, at the Idaho Falls North Stake Center, 955 Memorial Drive, with Bishop LaMoyne Hyde of Idaho Falls Sage Lakes Ward officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery under direction of Wood Funeral Home
