PREPARE FOR FUNERAL OF WEALTHY IOWA MAN
Arrangements were being made in Long Beach today for the funeral of William Buxton, wealthy Iowa banker and agriculturist, who died in Long Beach at the age of 68.
Mr. Buxton was well known for his many charitable gifts, one of the most recent being S40,000 to Simpson College, a Methodist institution at Indianola, Iowa.
His residence was in Warren county, Ia., where he was president of the Warren County bank. For 16 years he had been an annual visitor to Long Beach.
