LINTON — Jarrett "J.J." Edward Nicholson, 26, of Linton, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2008. He was born Feb. 25, 1982, to Cyndi and Nick Nicholson. He was employed at Purdue Turkey Farms in Washington. He also had worked in construction.Survivors include his parents, Cyndi and Larry Rogers; children, Harleigh, Holden, NaLanie, and as well as child due in December; mothers of children, Amber Nicholson, Kristi Vestal, and Meagan Gentry; sisters, Teresa Hedden and husband Bud, Shannon Delph and husband Brian, Chrissy Nicholson, Leslie Taylor and husband Rusty, and Jamie Nicholson; brother, Steve Nicholas; nieces and nephews, A.J., Tiffany, Shelby J. and Brandon, Lance, Shelby L., Melanie, Dena Jo, Cannon and Cassie; cousin and very close friend, Josh Terrell and Arthur Pilot; as well as many friends and a large extended family.He was preceded in death by his father, Nick Nicholson, grandma (Momo) and grandpa (PaPa) Bell; niece, Sarah Cynthia Taylor; nephew, Dusty Lee Roberts; uncle H.D. Nicholson; and sister, Shelby Jean.He enjoyed working on automobiles, especially Harley Davidson motorcycles and Fords. He also enjoyed spending time out doors camping, fishing and spending time with his kids.Services are 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2008, in Schoppenhorst Funeral Home, 301 E. Eighth St., in Clay City, with Pastor Lon Rector officiating. Burial is in Maple Grove Cemetery.
