Presley Lionel "Sarge" Albert, 75, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died at 1 p.m. Monday, March 15, 2004.

Visitation was at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church. Mass was at the church, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Joan Albert; one son, Kenneth "T" Frasure; five daughters, Denice Cazillo, Kellie Albert, Shari Burrell, Kimberly Melancon and Christine Oncale; three brothers, Clarence "C.J." Albert, Holdrith "Bro" Albert and Charles Albert; one sister, Barbara A. Madere; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Annie Keller Albert; and one son, Presley N. "Tyke" Albert.

He was retired from USMC after 24 years. He served in Korea and Vietnam and was retired from Monsanto after 15 years.

He was an usher at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church and was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council No. 8906 at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Troop C Grant A Wish, P.O. Box 607, Schriever, LA 70395.
