Richard went by the name of Howard. His death certificate doesn't state which cemetery he is buried in just that he was buried in Independence, MO. Since The Bailey Funeral Home Records online state he is buried in Independence, MO, I am assuming he is buried next to his first wife, Neva. His second wife, Velma P Trudgeon is buried in the Prairie Ridge Cemetery in Polo, MO. The Bailey Funeral Records site also incorrectly state that Richard was the son of John and Josephine Martin Trudgeon. His parents were John and Catherine Thomas Trudgeon. He also had 5 brothers: William, Reuben, Garnet (my grandfather), Alfred and Raymond. All 6 of the Trudgeon sons were born in Wakefield, MI.
