Mrs. Stanley Hocker
Ruby Beatrice Cooper was born at Beatrice, Nebraska, March 16, 1895,
and came to Delta with her parents in 1908 later removing to Cedaredge. Her father died and her mother went east. On February 13, 1913, she was married to Stanley Hocker of Cedaredge. On February 13, 1920, seven years after her marriage, the girl-wife was called to her reward, leaving her husband and four children to mourn her death. The children are Alene Lucile, aged 6; Clyde Eugene, aged 5; Carl Henry George, aged nearly 3 and a baby five weeks old. Death was due to spinal meningitis. The remains were laid to rest on Friday, February 13th, in Cedaredge cemetery.
