Lettye was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxillary Sabine Unit 21. She will be fondly remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother who deeply cared for her family.
Mrs. Latham was preceded in death by two sisters, Earline Pardo and Effie Chenault; one brother, Lester Basco; her parents, Mr. And Mrs. Harmond Basco; one son, Joseph R. Johnson; one daughter, Ann Arnold; and one grandson, Josh Edwards.
Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Henry "Hank" Latham, Sr. of Gorum; three sons, Phillip A. Johnson of Keithville, Donald M. Johnson of Laley Springs, Alabama, and Henry C. Latham, Jr. of Gorum; two daughters, Evelyn Carter and husband Larry of Gorum, and Michelle Borchert of Gorum; and numerous grandchildren, great-grand-children, and great-great- grandchildren.
