Born May 19, 1908 in Morgan County, she was the daughter of Thomas and Lela Sedam Cecil. She married Charles Homer Beck on Dec. 6, 1924 and he preceded her in death Feb. 14, 1971. She was an inspector at the Schnadig Corporation Furniture Plant in Rushville from 1951 - 1971.
Surviving are two daughers: Betty (Mrs. Bob) Owens of Rushville and Ann Brugge of Phoenix, AZ and Rushville; three sisters: Violet Kernodle of Indianapolis, Flora Kelly of Florida and Eileen Bristow of Whiteland; three grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one grandchild.
Services are 10 a.m. Wednesday at Todd Funeral Home in Rushville with the Rev. Kenneth Bates officiating. Burial is 1 p.m. Wednesday at Mooresville Cemetery. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
