Ruth Mildred French was the daughter of Frederick William French and Fannie Lockridge/French. Ruth and Norman had scarlet fever as small children, leaving both of them with heart problems and as a result of that both of them died very young. Neither one of them married.
Just a note here, since Ruth and Norman do not have actual headstones the F.W. French stone is that of their father's, so if you can find that stone then you can walk two graves over and find Norman's and Ruth's as well. I tried that and needless to say with no actual headstones it is still hard to find exactly where they are. So having F.W. French right there helps to locate them. Fannie, F.W. French's wife is to his right as you are looking at his stone and just a little behind him.
Block 22 Lot 2 has F.W. French, Fannie, Ruth, Norman, Maurice. The other French's in there on the other side of the tree are John and Maria French (maybe cousins or may be from another family that came out West after my gr-great grandfather Zerah and Margaret French got here in 1872. This is one of the oldest cemeteries in Auburn, and my French family section is an old section so the way that they numbered these was a little weird.
