Sun., Sept. 10 (6-5): Mrs. Catherine Davis, widow of the late Lee R. Davis, died at the family residence yesterday, age 85. A resident of the county since 1835. Sister to Neil McLennan. Husband died more than 25 years ago. She had six children: James, CharHe, Tom, Lee R., and Mrs. Clarence Williams, all of McLennan county except James in Bosque county. Mrs. Williams died five years ago. (Saturday, five years ago yesterday) Husband died 38 years and 1 day before her. Funeral from residence on Bosque near China Spring. Burial at family cemetery near residence.

Mon., Sept. 11 (2-4): Funeral yesterday of Mrs. Catherine Davis, widow of Lee R. Davis. Large attendance.
