Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon for James Low Reese, 76, with Rev. Billy Cartwright officiating. Burial was in the Moten Cemetery under the direction of the Bryson Funeral Home of Mammoth Spring. James Low Reese, son of the late John and Fannie (Price) Reese, was born April 17, 1886 and departed this life at West Plains, Mo., August 3, 1962 at the age of 76 years, 3 months and 16 days. He was married to Lucy Bennett May 5, 1922 and to this union two children were born. His wife preceded him in death. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Mae Butler, of Blytheville, Arkansas and one son, J. B. Reese of San Diego, California, besides ten grandchildren.
