Mr. Hutchison, who had been a farmer in this county most of his life, died suddenly Monday noon in the office of Dr. J. A. Kent following a heart attack.
He was born in Jackson township, Clinton county, Jan. 24, 1886. He was the son of James and Mary Skeen Hutchison.
Mr. Hutchison was married to Hazel Carter Jan. 27, 1907. His widow survives him.
He lived most of his life in Jackson township, moving to his farm on Route 7 in 1938. Besides farming, Mr. Hutchison worked on the State highway for two years and was custodian of the Mulberry schools for a few years.
He was active in local Democratic circles for many years and was chairman of Precinct 2, Madison township, at the time of his death.
Organizations to which he belonged are the Methodist church, the Community club, and the Farm Bureau.
Surviving besides the widow are four sons, Delmar of Michigantown, Argyll of Frankfort, Gerald and Kenneth, both of Mulberry; five daughters, Wilma, Geneva and Annabelle, all at home, Mrs. Malcolm Graham of Frankfort route 7, and Mrs. Bruce Rothenberger of Mulberry; one sister, Mrs. Jessie Young of Frankfort route 5, and twelve grandchildren.
