He was the fourth generation owner of Dugan Paint and Glass in Sedalia. He was a member of Sedalia Masonic Lodge No. 236 and president of the Sedalia Country Club for two terms. He served on the Sedalia City Council for seven years. He loved to fly, play golf, travel and spend time with his family. He was a member of Calvary Episcopal Church.
Also surviving are a son, George "Mick" Dugan IV of Sedalia; a daughter, Dianne Brown of Houston; a brother, Bill W Dugan of Sedalia; three grandchildren; and a great-grandson.Pallbearers were Dr Roger Hopkins, Lou Tempel, Burl Sammons, Don Broaddus, Fred Evans, Charles Huddleston and George Wimmer. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery with military rites by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 2591.
