Mrs. Lasher Dies Monday


ST. PETERSBURG –Mrs. Alfred (Lorraine) Lasher of Parker RD 2 died unexpectedly at 8 p.m. Monday in her home. Removal was made to the Karle D. McKinney Funeral Home in St. Petersburg. A complete obituary will be published in Wednesday's Derrick.

ST. PETERSBURG - Mrs. Lorraine Householder Lasher, 72, of Parker RD 2, died unexpectedly at 1pm Monday in her home. She was the wife of Alfred J. Lasher and a former resident of New Kensington. Born March 4, 1901, in Connellsville, she was a daughter of Harry and Lottie Sloan Fetter. She was a member of Pittsburgh Chapter 1, Women of the Moose, and the Ladies Auxiliary to the Parker Fire Company. Surviving along with her husband, Alfred J. Lasher Parker RD 2, are a son, Chester L. Householder of New Kensington; two sisters, Romaine Ferguson of New Kensington and Mrs. Sarah Grace Palmer of Pittsburgh; two granddaughters and three great-grandchildren. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm today at the Karle D. McKinney Funeral Home in St. Petersburg, Removal will be made to Ross Walker Funeral Home Freeport Road in New Kensington, where friends will received Thursday afternoon and evening and where funeral services will be held at 2 pm Friday. Interment will be in Greenwood Memorial Cemetery Lower Burrell.

Mrs. Lorraine Householder Lasher, 72, of Parker R.D. 2, died suddenly at 8 p.m. yesterday at her home. She was a former resident of New Kensington. Born March 4, 1901, in Connellsville, she was the daughter of Harry and Lottie Sloan Fetter. She was a member of the Women of the Moose of Pittsburgh, Chapter 1, and the Foxburg Fire Company and the Ladies Auxiliary. Surviving are her husband, Alfred J. Lasher; a son, Chester L. Householder of New Kensington and Mrs. Sara Grace Palmer of Pittsburgh; two granddaughters, and three great-grandchildren. LASHER--Friends of Mrs. Lorraine Householder Lasher of Parker R.D. 2, who died Monday Feb. 25, 1974, will be received at the Karle D. McKinney Funeral Home, St. Petersburg from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. The body will be taken to the Ross Walker Funeral Home, Freeport Road, New Kensington, where friends will be received Thursday afternoon and night, and where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Cemetery, Lower Burrell. Arrangements by McKinney.

She was married to Alfred J. Lasher, who survives. Mrs. Lasher was a former resident of New Kensington.
