Mr. Brinson
SWAINSBORO —
Rufus Lester Brinson 79, died Friday in a Metter hospital. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Union Primitive Baptist Church. Burial will-be in Union Church Cemetery. The Rev. Ray Freeman and Elder William Claxton will officiate.
Mr Brinson, a native of Emanuel County, was a carpenter and a farmer
Survivors include his wife, Mary Brinson of Swainsboro; five daughters Evelyn Johnson of Garfield, Annie Forst of Canoochee, Mary H. Logan and Mickey Hooks, both of Swainsboro, and Jane Ann McNease of Vidalia; three sons Earl Brinson of Savannah, Johnny Ray Brinson of Midville and Jerry Brinson of Swainsboro; two sisters, Georgia Riner of Swainsboro and Terrie Tucker of Statesboro; 32 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Hunnicutt Funeral Home of Swainsboro has charge of arrangements.
