John Bjork Is Killed By Fall Into Cistern
Falling into a cistern he was in the act of constructing, John C. Bjork met his death Tuesday at his ranch home in the Bole district. Examination disclosed that the skull was fractured and the neck broken. Circumstances indicated that he had lain in the sump for some time before the body was discovered and that death was practically instantaneous. At the time he was in the act of building forms to pour the concrete.
Born at Trade Lake, Wisconsin, on the 17 of March 1870, Mr. Bjork had been a successful and respected citizen of the Bole community for 33 years. He was married in Great Falls in 1915. His wife and three children survive. The children are Mrs. Emil Johnson of Fairfield, Mrs. Oliver Forseth of Farmington, and Mrs. John Poore. There are also two brothers, August and Edwin Bjork, and one sister, Mrs. Peter Lundeen. The parents were Andrew and Leontana (Anderson) Bjork, natives of Sweden.
The funeral will be held this Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Methodist church in Choteau.
