Harold was born in Green River (now known as Auburn), King Co. WA. He was the second son to be born to Frederick French and Fannie Lockridge-French. Harold went into WWI along with two of his brother's, George D and Maurice French, leaving their mother and sister's on the farm to carry on with out their help. The only male left to help out was Norman. Harold was in the lumber camps and worked as a welder at times. From the 1900-1920 he is on the farm with his mother and siblings, in the 1930 census he is in Seattle as Harold F. French as a welder age 38 born in WA. After the 1930 census he disappears from Washington. Harold never married as far as we all know.
