Rhoda Tait Barnum was born to Charles Henry Barnum and Elizabeth Julianna Tait. She had 5 siblings: Henreitta, Lorenza or RENZIE, Esther Elizabeth or LIZZIE, Lena Bell and William Tait Barnum Her Grandfather William Tait came from Ireland to India with the British East India Company where he met her grandmother Elizabeth Xavier who was with the famous Willie Handcart Company. She married Don Thomas Emett in St George,Utah they had 12 children who adored their parents. Silva, Mona, Blanche, Anna Iva, Lola, Heartha, Francis, Don Eldon, Truce William, Claude and Merl. As one of their great grandchildren I can testify they are still loved and missed.
