Funeral services for Benjamin Walter Bailey, eighty-two, 306 Washington Street, who died at his home early last night, December 13, 1938, following a lingering illness, is scheduled to be held at 3 P.M. today at his home with the Rev. Clement Ritter officiating. Burial was to be in the Dothan City Cemetery with Ward-Wilson directing.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Josephine Casey Bailey; one daughter, Mrs. Wade Griffin, Sr. of Dothan; two sons, H.K. Bailey of Opelika, Ala. and R. L. Bailey of Clearwater, Fla., eighteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Active pallbearers will be: K. H. Ripley, J. H. Campbell, I. P. Scarborough, A. L. Love, F. Z. Doak and Robert M. Grubb.
