Chester Punderson Avery, 88, a resident of Klamath County for 52 years, died here October 8.
He was a native of Corvallis, Oregon and for many years farmed in the Henley District. His wife Mrs. Addie Avery, died December 20, 1953.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Victor Palmer, this city, brothers: of Grover Avery, Virginia Avery and one sister, Mrs. Martha Fulton all of Corvallis. There are also 4 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
