HANOVER - Gloria A. Bankert, 62, of Hanover, died Thursday at her home. She was the wife of Stewart C. Bankert, to whom she was married for 29 years.

The service will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Kenworthy Funeral Home Inc., 269 Frederick St., Hanover. Burial will be in St. Paul's (Dub's) Church Cemetery, Hanover. Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Bankert was born Sept. 13, 1938, in New Oxford. She was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Mamie (Frey) Byers.

She was an inspector for Hanover Industries for several years. She was a member of St. Paul's (Dub's) United Church of Christ in Hanover and its Sunday school.

Mrs. Bankert also is survived by a brother, Charles E. Byers of New Oxford; and several nieces and nephews.

Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Mark J. Stewart.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's (Dub's) United Church of Christ, 1958 Dub's Church Road, Hanover 17331.
