In 1926 she married Clifford Erskine Lackey in Tyler Texas, near her hometown of Lindale, Smith Co., Texas. Annie and Erskine lived in McAlester Oklahoma and had two children, a daughter Mary Louise and a son Billy George. In the early 1940's they moved to California where they lived in Hermosa Beach. After the death of Erskine in 1954, she remained in Hermosa Beach until 1967 when she moved to Torrance California and lived with her daughter Mary Lou and her family until her death in 1990.
Known as "Nana" to all that knew her, a loyal Dodgers fan, and an amazing baker. Annie was a lady to the end that not an unkind word was heard to be said about her. She left behind a family that loved her dearly and misses her greatly in June of 1990 .
