Ernestine Unnasch was the sister of Johann Carl Frederich Unnasch, who married Henriette Louise Meyer). Ernestine married Frederich Wilhelm Luedtke on August 6, 1875. They had children:Augusta Wilhelmine, Willie, Annie, an infant who may have died young, Fritz, Albert, Bertha, Charlie, and Herman Henry George.
Ernestine died between Feb. 1890 and 1891. Needing a mother for his children, Fritz Luedtke married Ernestina's cousin, Johanna Louise Unnasch on June 25, 1891. (Johanna Louise was the daughter of Ernestine's mother's brother, Johann Carl Unnasch and his wife Henriette Louise Meyer. Johanna Louise later married August Pick after Fritz died).
