GROVERTOWN - Janet Cody, 48, of Mansfield, OH, formerly of Grovertown, passed away of a sudden illness on Saturday, June 21, 2008, in Mansfield Medical Central Hospital.
Janet was born September 29, 1959, in Knox, IN, to Donald and Pauline (Browning) Clark and had lived in Mansfield for 10 years, coming from Grovertown.
She was married to Gene Cody, who preceded her in death in 1994. She was also preceded in death by her mother and a sister, Christine.
Survivors include a son, Jason (Dawn) Cody of Walkerton; grandchildren, Madison and Tyler; her father, Don "Fuzzy" Clark of Walkerton; two brothers, Steve Clark of Kansas and Dale (Keri) Clark of Walkerton, and their children, Julia and Jillian Clark.
Janet was an employee of the Smurfitt Stone Container Company of Mansfield, OH.
Funeral services will be Saturday at noon (Eastern time) in Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel. Burial will be at the Grovertown Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday from 10 a.m. EDT until the time of services in the funeral home.
