Lillie Mae Beeching, daughter of Joseph [Smith Benward] and Mary Ann [Bennett], was born Nov. 15, 1866 in Indiana and died June 27, 1950 in Mammoth Spring, Ark., at the age of 83 years, 7 months. She was united in marriage to A. M. Beeching on Jan. 1, 1889 in Huntington, Ind., and to this union nine children were born.

She leaves her husband and four daughters, Frances [Zera] Bundy of Mishawaka, Ind.; Mrs. G. E. Barnts of Springfield, Mo.; Mrs. L.R. Mitchell of St. Louis, Mo.; Mrs. L. K. Ross of Largo, Fla.; five sons, L. A. Beeching of Houston, Texas; A. W. Beeching of Springfield, Mo.; R. M. Beeching of Guam; T. C. Beeching of Baton Rouge, La., and M. H. Beeching of Mammoth Spring, Ark., several grand-children and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held June 30, at the Moten cemetery with the Rev. Curtis officiating. Burial in Moten cemetery under direction of Carter Funeral home of Thayer.
