Sharon Gail York, age 39, of Crossville, Tennessee, Passed away November 10, 2000. Funeral Services conducted November 13, 2000 from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home. Bro. Chester Rhoad officiated the service.

Sharon was the daughter of Bobby Ray York and Mildred Janell Stephens. She was the sister of Darrell Wayne York, Augusta Sharon Leigh McDonald Glass, and Carlene York Keyes.

Sharon was tough, but kind. She was serious, but funny. She loved deeply, and would go through anything for those that were special to her. Once she hitchhiked 186 miles to see me. I am proud that I could be one of those people.

Sharon called her mother "Mommy. She loved her little sisters so much and talked about them all the time. She grieved for her sister, Lisa, who died as a baby.

Sharon was not "girly", but more of a tomboy. Dresses and makeup were not her thing. Still, she was delicate.

Sharon's grave is next to her brother, Wayne. Wayne died 4 days after Sharon passed away.
