Son of George Washington Slaughter and Sarah Elizabeth Cooper, Albert was one of a set of triplets. His siblings were co-triplets Allen & Alfred; Alonzo, James Wesley and Walter. He married first on 10 Sept. 1902 to Agnes Thomas. He later married in 1945 to Loretta Dolores (Copher) Dipley.
