MRS. HUGHES PASSES AWAY

Mrs. Mae Hughes, 87, of Habersham passed away Monday, November 25, at LaFollette Community Hospital. She was a member of Cleveland Church of God.

Survivors are: daughters, Mrs. Flossie Ayers, Mrs. Jeanette Wilson, and Mrs. James Ayers, all of Habersham, Mrs. Nona Goins of Baltimore; sons, Homer Hughes of LaFollette, Luther Hughes of Knoxville; sister, Mrs. Willis Cox of Big Timber, Montana; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon, November 29, at Cumberland Avenue Church of God, LaFollette, with Rev. E. B. Rose and Rev. Lloyd McCulley officiating. Burial was in Jellico Cemetery. Cross Funeral Home of LaFollette was in charge.
