Alice Clara Dunavan was the daughter of Joseph Albert Dunavan and Nancy Green.

Obit was located in "The Hamiltonian" Mar. 10, 1904 on page #1 and reads as follows:
"Miss Alice C. Dunavan died at the home of here brother, George Dunavan, three and one-half miles northwest of Hamilton, at 9 p.m. Thursday, March 3, 1904, aged about fifty years. The deceased was born in LaSalle county, Illinois, where she resided up to about fifteen years ago, when she came to Hamilton to keep house for her brother. She had been in poor health for some time, heart trouble probably being the immediate cause of her death. The deceased was a sister of Mrs. Aaron Howe, of this city. The funeral services were held at the Baptist church in this city, Sunday, March 6, at 2 p.m., conducted by Rev. A.L. Cartin.
