Anna E. Cale, 73, of Waverly, died November 7, 2002 at the Charleston Area Medical Center, Charleston, WV. She was born March 23, 1929 in Washington County, OH a daughter of the late Charles and Cora Meeks Hart. She was a homemaker who devoted her life to loving, caring and cooking for her family, friends and community.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years William "Fram" Cale; two sons Richard Cale and wife Chris of Waverly, Ronald Cale of Waverly; two daughters Barbara Bowser of Waverly, Pamela Dight and husband Brian of Waverly; daughter-in-law Kay Cale; eleven grandchildren Cody and Rick Cale, Michael Kupfner, Marie Knicely, Tammy Piggott, Scott Cale, Stephanie Cale, Harlan Bowser Jr., Michael Adam Bowser, Camy and Colby Dight; seven great grandchildren Harlan III and Hanah Bowser, Zachery, Reba and Jakob Knicely, Chase and Tyler Piggott; three sisters Lena McMullen of Parkersburg, Betty Pierce of McConnesville, OH, Helen Elder of FL and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son Charles "Buck" Cale; son-in-law Harlan "Dick" Bowser; seven brothers Arthur, Hollie, Harvey, Burl, Earl, Charles, Luther and two sisters Freda Casto and Alma Ball.
Services will be Sunday 2:00 PM at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Reverend Frena Morehead officiating.
Burial will follow at the Sunset Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be Saturday 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the funeral home.
