Worker dies after fall
Daniel I. Miller of 406 East 11th Street was pronounced dead on arrival at Olympic Memorial Hospital Wednesday after he apparently lost his balance and fell from a roof.
Miller, a carpenter for DelGuzzi Construction Company was working on the roof of a frame house at 329 West Columbus Street when the mishap occurred at about 4:15 p.m.
Officials at DelGuzzi said this morning it was not known exactly what had happened only tha the fell off.
An ambulance was immediately called by a fellow worker but when it arrived, Miller had stopped breathing.
