Last Friday morning at his home near White Sulpher, Reginald Barnett breathed his last after a long illness of Bright's disease.
Mr. Barnett was the third son of Mrs. Jane and the late Henry D. Barnett. He had been in bad health for many years from what was termed stomach trouble and was so treated until two years ago he went to Louisville for treatment, whereupon his trouble was pronounced Bright's disease, and that to his death had been a great sufferer of, especially at different intervals when he was compelled to take to his bed and remain almost at death's door for weeks at a time.
Mr. Barnett was married to Miss Lala Phelps, a daughter of Mr. T.A. Phelps of this city, who with four small children along with his aged mother, three brothers and one sister mourn his death. The brothers and sister are as follows; William, of Duncan, Olka.; Harry of Sikeston, Missouri; Robert and Mrs. Piercy George of White Sulphur.
Mr. Barnett was a consistant member of the White Sulphur Baptist Church, also a member of Silver Leaf Camp WOW of Princeton, and was well liked by both his church and Lodge.
The interment at the White Sulphur Cemetery Saturday afternoon was largely attended.
