Minnie Mae Babb, 65, formerly of Robin Road, Princeton, died Friday, Sept. 19, 1997, at 3:40 a.m. at Regional Medical Center, in Madisonville, following a long illness.
A retired ASCS office clerk and member of Second Baptist Church, she was born Dec. 13, 1931, in Caldwell County, a daughter of the late Luther Cartwright, who died Sept. 10, 1988, and Mary Agnes Young Cartwright, who died May 21, 1987.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Babb, on March 31, 1972.
Survivors include a daughter, Deborah Babb of Princeton; a grandson, Luke Jackson; two brothers, Ronnie Cartwright of Caldwell County and Donnie Cartwright of Carson City, Nev.; a sister Geraldine Vinson of Caldwell county, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, Sept. 21 p.m. at Morgan's Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Duane Burden officiating, assisted by Bro. Gerald Board.
Burial will follow in White Sulphur Church Cemetery, in Caldwell County, Ky.
