ILLINOIS CITY -- Funeral services for Arthur Feldman, 64, of rural Illinois City, who died at 11:30 Sunday night in University Hospital, Iowa City, Iowa, will be at 2 tomorrow afternoon in George Wittich Funeral Home, Muscatine, Iowa.
The Rev. Mason Finks, pastor of the Illinois City United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Illinois City Cemetery. Visitation is tonight at the funeral home.
Mr. Feldman was born on March 4, 1909, in Drury Township, a son of Edward and Pearl Bowser Feldman. He married Jeanette Monroe on Dec. 31, 1942.
Mr. Feldman was a farmer and had resided all his life in the Illinois City area.
He was a financial secretary of the Illinois City United Methodist Church, has served on the board of directors of Eliza Telephone Exchange, served as director of Wrayville District School Board, and was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Buffalo Prairie, and the Farm Bureau.
Surviving are the widow; one son, Arthur Feldman II of Drury Township, two daughters, Mrs. Leslie Blaser of Arlington, Texas, and Mrs. John Quinn of Davenport; eight grandchildren, and two brothers, Harry and Walter, both of Drury Township.
