SMITHFIELD – Mrs. Annie Laurie Felts, of 1016 S. Church St., died Thursday at home. She was born Surry County, retired as a sales clerk and was a member of Pine Grove Assembly of God Church, Windsor. Survivors include her husband, T. C. Felts; two daughters, Mrs. Billie F. Brown of Virginia Beach, Mrs. Anne Dolores Pickrell of Portsmouth; two sons, Homer G. Felts of Jacksonville, Fla., and Thomas L. Felts of Newburgh, Ind.; four sisters, Mrs. Jessie Boole of Carrollton, Mrs. Georgie Felts of Smithfield, Mrs. Willie Harrison of Rushmere, and Mrs. Leola Raby of Richmond; 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday at Pine Grove Assembly of God Church by the Rev. Gerry Sauls. Burial will be in St. Luke's Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday at Colonial Funeral Home. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions Isle of Wight County Volunteer Rescue Squad or Pine Grove Assembly of God Church.
