Eva Effie ARCHER was born in Winnebago, Illinois on 27Dec1872 and when a small child moved with family to Nuckolls, Nebraska. When 16yrs old she was united in marriage with Clinton WELLS on 9April1889. To this union eight children were born. Three sons and her husband preceded her in death. Those left to mourn her death are four daughters and one son: Clarence WELLS of Mt. Clare; Mrs. Mae HUDE of Dicks,Colorado; Mrs. Ann RICHARDSON of Lawrence; Mrs. Emma REIMAN of Nelson and Miss Blanche WELLS of Mt. Clare. Also two brothers and three sisters: Jasper of Denver Colorado; Frank of Shelton, Mrs.Francis DeVALL of Shelton; Mrs. Maude BONNELL of Denver, Colorado, Mrs. Hattie Wells SCOTT of Mitchell; and thirteen grandchildren and a host of relatives. -------
