Jody was born in Muskegon, Michigan to Hazel and Wayne Jewitt. Shortly after her birth, her mother and father were divorced. Her mother worked as a waitress at G&L restaurant, I was 5 years old and in kindergarden.

The babysitter had left us alone early one morning and we were removed from the home by social services. I went to live with my biological father and Jody was adopted out to a nice family. (Her name was Vicky until she was adopted)

She had no idea that I even existed because she was only 8 months old when adopted. I on the other hand remembered her, and in 1979, I decided to try to locate her. Well after about 6 months of letters to courts and judges, I was granted permission to contact her. We have been close ever sense. I did meet her adopted Mother and she was a very wonderful woman. When i did meet with Jody for the first time, i also informed her that she had another sister that she did not know about. Later on we all three did get together and spend time with each other.

Jody stayed in contact with each of us until her death, although we did not have a childhood together I will always cherish the time we did have together. And like before we will meet again.

Jody leaves behind a wonderful daughter and three beautiful grandchildren………Sleep well my sister

cause of death "cancer", she was also a member of F.A.G for the past six years
