ESTACADA, Or., March 8. - (Special.) - Mrs. John Githens, 65, died Friday. She was the daughter of Randolph and Alla Stricklin and was born at Highland, Or. She was married to John Githens in 1887, and they lived on their farm near Currinsville until a few months ago, when they moved to this city. She is survived by her widower and two daughters, Mrs. Hazel Beers of Estacada and Mrs. Echo Palmateer of Morgan, Or., also four grandchildren and one brother, George Everly of Geyser, Mont. Funeral services were held in the Christian church today, Rev. G. W. Ross officiating.
