Bertha Hudson was married to Charles Burdeaux on Apr 2, 1905 in Harrison County MS. They raised 12 children (6 male, 6 females) in Lyman, Harrison Co, Mississippi. She was the daughter of Newton Hudson and Mary Eleanor Walker. Bertha did nursing and helped deliver babies for the people in that area. She was my maternal grandmother.

Bertha's sister Susan married Charles' brother Samuel.
