Mrs. W. P. Ables died in a house fire. Before her marriage she was Annie Jones and was thirty-eight years old. Interment in Weaver Cemetery beside her daughter, the first fire victim.

Dallas Morning News, September 22, 1906 -Sep 21st [Terrell] Mrs. W. P. [Annie Jones] Ables died today from the results of the fire which consumed the Ables’ home near Terrell last night. She was 38 and leaves a husband and eight children.

Wills Point Chronicle, September 27, 1906 - Mrs. W. P. Ables, who was so seriously burned last week, died Friday. Her remains were interred at Weaver cemetery by the side of her daughter who died a few days previous. [see obit for Pearl Ables]
