Clarence was the oldest son of Albert Wright and Rosa Etta Hampton Wright.

Clarence may have been born in 1921 instead of 1920. He always said that he WAS born in 1921.

Clarence served in the Marine Corp during World War Two. He was in Iwo Jima.

Clarence married Mavis Pauline Pierce on Aug. 2, 1940.

Father 0f: Jerry Clarence of Noel, Missouri
Albert Wright of Broken Arrow, Okla.
Victoria Lynne King of Bella Vista, Ark.
. Nancy Ann Stokes of Fayetteville, Ark.
Paula Kay Shell of Claremore, Okla.

Clarence drove a city bus in Fort Smith, Ark. Worked driving heavy equipment, building dams all over the United States. He then moved to Rogers, where he worked at the Ice plant for years.

Clarence was a founding member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Rogers, close to their home. He was the song leader, I can still hear his loud voice singing the hymns, so clearly, in my memory. He was in church EVERY time the church door was open.

Clarence loved to fish the Ark. lakes and rivers. He liked playing cards, too, especially spades and hearts.

Clarence was a hard worker, and his family meant everything to him. He was content with his life, just as it was. That is quite an accomplishment.
