Fred was a member of the class of 1970 Garden City West High School in MI.He was into top 40 and had a great 45 rpm top 40 collection. He had all of Keener 13 weekly top 40 charts for over 5 years. He always had a transistor radio with him to keep up on the hits.I knew Fred for over 30 years. We hung out,partied, and just shot the bull for many years.He bought me my first Pint and hung out at Garden City park for years after High School. Buying a GIQ for people if you bought him one. I left Garden City in 1984 but kept in touch with him for years. He had a Heart valve replaced in 1992 at 41 years young.The last time we walked the streets of Garden City together was in Oct. 1998.I last saw him in 2003 after his mom died one of the last things I said to him was 'Look at us now Fred were two old men' Fred died Dec. 1 2004 I do miss him and those days...............
