Mrs. Corbin died Wednesday, Dec. 11, 1996, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
She was born July 6, 1916, in Lamar, Ark., the daughter of John L. and Maude Horton Pearson.
She retired in 1976 as a cook for West Junior High School. She had worked 27 years for the Lawrence school district.
She was a member of Indian Hills Church of God, Lawrence, and the former Coachman Travel Club. She loved to travel.
She married Lawrence D. Corbin on June 23, 1938, in Lawrence. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Sharon Englebrecht and Karon Thoren, both of Eudora; a sister, Ozella Burns, Lawrence; two grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
