Death of Mrs. W. T. Eustace Occurs Friday:
Mrs. Martha Ellen Eustace, widow of the late Captain W. T. Eustace, died at her home on North Prairieville street at 11:30 A.M. Friday following an illness lasting about three weeks. She has been slowly sinking for the past three days. Mrs. Eustace suffered two light strokes three weeks ago that hastened the end. The first of these resulted in a fall in which she was injured.
Funeral Services were held from the Methodist Church Saturday morning at 10:00 o'clock with Rev. R. E. Connell, Pastor, in charge. Burial was at the city cemetery.
The deceased passed her 77th birthday last November. She was born six miles west of Athens and had resided here continuously since. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Sallie Melton, of Malakoff, who is the last of five
children. A number of neices and nephews also survive.
Mrs. Eustace wa a faithful member of the Methodist Church for the greater part of her life.
Since the death of her husband seven years ago, Mrs. Eustace had continued to live at the family home on North Prairieville street.
She was married to Captain Eustace in 1882.
